Re: Jazz String scores-Sher Music

Hope some people find some workable grace through this. I was listening to the Patrick Williams American Concerto (the 2nd movement is offered here) and wondered how many people have really paid attention to his contributions, as with Ogerman (try his Symphonic Dances). Vince Mendoza is from a diffe...

Re: Fiedler Audio / SpaceLab (Immersive 3D Spatialization)

For what it's worth, I don't want to start a fight here, but Spat still works fine on a custom audio computer, running Windows 10 and Cubase 11.

Re: EXPONENTIAL R4

Thanks DrQuest. I see that NIMBUS is also on he site, so GAS wins, Ill try them both. Like the idea of settings allowing the reverb to be trigerred and cut off as notes are playing, instead of the constant smear.

EXPONENTIAL R4

R4 is on sale right now on Plugin Boutique for $10, down from $299. GAS tells me to send out an enquiry as to user experiences. I have the Phoenix from them but have lately been working almost exclusively with the Vienna Suites Hybrid. I work now primarily with VSL in Classical and Jazz areas, not f...

Re: EastWest / Hollywood Orchestra OPUS Edition

Lawrence, the trailer begins with solo wws, and on towards the very end a photo of the Solo Cello library pops up. It seems as if there are, given their trailer. The cloud is a good way to test drive everything they have, then cancel the cloud and wait for sales. I don't think this is a nefarious th...

Thank you Chick Corea for all of the wonder. Wish I would have said it to you when you were still here.

Rest in Beauty and Peace. Maybe in heaven you won't have to practice so much.

Re: VSTClub.com Is this a con? Unreal prices-huge catalogue

Yeah, I'm in agreement about the to good to be a true thing. I have seen momentarey sales from some devs at ridiculous prices so I had to check whereas there are ome things there I've been looking for.
Anyway, glad for ESET, and thanks for all of the confirmations.
Happy Holidays!

VSTClub.com Is this a con? Unreal prices-huge catalogue

Hi. Can anyone give any info on the company VST-Club.com? In googling a Best Service library, this site showed up The prices on the site are unreal, even for the holidays. Kwaya-$260 on Best Service $30.00 on this site, Sample Mod The Trumpet=$10.00 here, they have The Ladies 2.1 for $40.00, OMNISPH...

Re: Cubase 10.5 Mix Console-Project Page linking glitch-help!

Sorry Guy, I was away yesterday. And I do have that setting checked. There are a couple of other things I have also selected, ie, the new function in 10.5 that has Cubase load your project page colors simultaneously to the mix Console, though that may be something accomplished with only audio tracks...

Cubase 10.5 Mix Console-Project Page linking glitch-help!

Cubase 10.5. Windows10 I am dealing with a Mix Console-Project Page glitch wherin soloing an instrument in the Mix Console causes Cubase to mute the corresponding track on the Project page. This project page track muting then over rides the soloing of said track in the Mix Console, resulting in sile...

Re: Prepurchse--KOMPAKT KOMPLETE, a great idea, horrible execution, or not? Help

I can't believe I did that!
Yes, I'm asking about the Komplete Kontrol 88 keyboard, not the old East West et al player from the 2005's.
So sorry for the confusion, and thanks Guy for catching this!

Prepurchse--KOMPAKT KOMPLETE, a great idea, horrible execution, or not? Help

Hi. Another midi controller topic heading. I'm looking right now at the Kompakt Komplete. In looking around I'm finding a lot of comment about how wonderful the Fatar keyboard is to play, but often followed up by an awful lot of accompaning negative comment out there.. One constantcy of complaint is...

Re: "Aviram Arabic Strings", any one know these libs?

Thanks Piet. Still thinking on this. The price with "audio plugin" IS $39. I look of these kinds of things in terms of harvesting samples in Kontakt to build individual "nki's. I run in Cubase, thus have the Expression Map function with Kontakt Banks to gather several of these pieces ...

"Aviram Arabic Strings", any one know these libs?

Just received an email from VST BUZZ about the "AVIRAM ARABIC STRINGS". I watched the walkthroughs but would still like to know if anyone has any experience with this lib. It's definitely Far Eastern, including glisses, ports, slides and other Far Eastern telltales. For $29 I'm really temp...

Re: Using filters for timbral inflections-Tanujs Krypton walkthrough

Ahh. So another answer comes for me with this also. I was trying to define how you could get such a rich (Berlin Type) orchestral trombone sound from the S.M. Tbns and Tuba. I've had them since they 1st came out but have never used them. To me they always sounded like a junior high school kid's 1st ...

Hi! (This is directed to Tanuj Tiku, but, please , anyone with something to contribute do so. Re: Spitfire introduces their Studio Series with Spitfire Studio Strings

Yes, most developers call detaché “bowed legato” but I have yet to hear one that sounds like actual detaché and is as agile as the real thing. I have most of the big string libraries, and it just doesn’t exist in any of them. The VSL Orchestral Strings have long and short detaches, similar with Sta...
