Re: Cubase 9.5

Haven't updated yet, but reading that you have to manually copy your profile settings again since they are all gone and also that the new drawing for cc's is only for the automation and unfortunately not for the midi cc editor, which I find a big bummer to read.

Cubase 9.5

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=673VCqVHY9Y The smooth curve drawing looks (finally!) great, offline processing as well and finally new click sounds for the metronome (gosh, how hard was that?) and multiple tempo clicks (nice!). Just watched it in between some stuff so havent given it deep thoughts,...

On the website it says it requires the full version of Kontakt 5, but nothing about which version, but being simple in design I guess it runs also with older versions.

Re: Looking for composers/sound designers for custom scoring game music library

Haha, no it is not bad at all. And I thought a bit about it to post it public (well here and on the other one), but there is some nice talent out there who I don't know and it is nice to see who is willing to take the first steps. I know that kind of things is always a step, though I want to make su...

Thanks for doing the Atmospheres, nice sounding library but no Yaks! Yaks are sooo june 2017 :D It is a great library indeed and having used it now a bit more I can really say it has some great sounds and you can go all kinds of ways with it. From nasty gritty trailery sound designy things till atm...

Re: Atom by Audiomodern

I took the bite yesterday and bought it because I liked what I heard and a few sounds I could use for a tight deadline for today and so far I dont regret it. Loads of different sounds and used only the more distorted impacts and effects but they sit nice in the mix. Actually even better then I hoped...

Sounds like a very neat idea Noam. I can see reason in the points Rob is making, but on the other hand who knows what it might trigger in interest. Could it be that it would be also interesting if it would be a sort of contributing system, like that people with the knowledge (and time and dedication...

Re: Thrill – A collaboration of Native Instruments and Galaxy Instruments

The Leap motion control is a nifty thing and looks like a perfect suited tool for this to be honest. Only downside I have with this thing is that it somehow doesnt like broad daylight and has some minor disconnects now and then. Otherwise I would recommend it as x/y controller (I use it in combi wit...

Re: The Unfinished / Zebra Velium

I rarely buy expansion packs for my synths but when I do Matt's are the first and often the last I check out. Maybe the best way to expand ones palette at an inexpensive price. Yes indeed and I don't know if you feel the same way, but they actually trigger also again my own creativity and way of th...

Re: Waves entering the piano game

Jeez, 29 bucks? That is indeed insanely cheap and looks like you tweak this thing quite a bit. Just skimped through the demos and I don't get excited by the sound, but I also have a grumpy day haha, so that might also be included for about 40% of the listening experience ;) That said, I recently pic...

Re: What's up in the world of cinematic percussion? Looking for specific recommendation...

Maybe hook up with a East West cloud subscription and use some stuff from Stormdrum 2 and 3 and the Hollywood Percussions? That should cover your needs probably and don't have to invest a ton of money and you can cancel the subscription when the project is done (you are allowed to use the content yo...
