Re: Pitch Innovations / Fluid Chords

Works well too. Great plugin. And conceived and developed — or co-conceived and co-developed, I don't know — by one of our little group here no less. Congratulations, Suganthan! _ Thank you Piet. Krishna was like the main driver and this is his whole concept. I was responsible for the programming p...

Re: SPAT 2 announced

better than VSS2 From what I understand from demoing, VSS2 use clever tricks(filtering, delaying, mixing between delay lines) to create the stage illusion which is a reason for their less cpu usage. It never actually emulates the stage itself. I'd say how. Lets say I'm are feeding a dry library's s...

Re: Roland cloud

Hm, I see. I also read this post (by Jeremy Soule) in which he seem to explain what is triggering him to develop such a concept. Most notably, "I feel like I've really only been able to devote about ten percent of my life to my actual musical craft. The rest is just all of this overhead that se...

Re: Roland cloud

I'm a little confused by this Yeah me too, not sure what it is. Jeremy Soule(collaborator) said in an interview that they saw an opportunity of handful of talented sound engineers/programmers helping musicians make music very easy. He also said that anyone can have those powerful synths, etc which ...

Re: A New Pricing Model Appears for Plugins: Rent-to-Own Serum

I think this could be a nice idea especially as I am starting out. I really expect devs to introduce subscription/rent services so that I don't need huge upfront investment.

Also SONAR has this kind of subscription thingy, you can own it after the subscription ends.

Re: NI Komplete 11 leaked

If symphonic series are included in K11U, its price would be verry much more than that of the previous version unless they are downgraded versions for the reason J Rod mentioned.

Re: Audionamix' ADX TRAX Audio Separation Software

Ever heard this demixing plugin by smartelectronix?
Demonstration video: Caution: Too lengthy

Plugin link: http://mdsp.smartelectronix.com/2005/11 ... -demixing/
I wonder whether it demixes different or same as Pitchmap or ADX TRAX.

Re: Anyone familiar with Praat - doing phonetics by computer (or something similar)?

Though I have no experience, just two days ago, I was looking at Praat after finding it in Harm Visser's website - http://www.hvsynthdesign.com/reaktor.php It is clearly an analysis and synthesis program for phonectics. I took a look at one of the manuals(http://www.fon.hum.uva.nl/praat/manualsByOth...
