Re: Musio - Voces8 choir released
I admit to being somewhat mystified by the math. Maybe I have it wrong-you paid more for an “exclusive” permanent license (only 500 to be sold, or something like that?) compared to what they are NOW selling it for? Or is the present price a yearly subscription? If it’s the former and I had purchased...

Man, that vibrato is metronomic.
I find uses for Passion Flute, but not so much this.

Re: Black Friday tips
Markus, I've added a video of how I often work with XO in this thread if it's of any interest / use - https://thesoundboard.net/viewtopic.php?p=80280#p80280 This is pretty impressive. I wonder if maybe a new version of Stylus Rmx might go in this direction if it ever will see the day of light. Base...

Re: Black Friday tips
I bought the Ronroco, the last of the Red Room Audio fiddles that I didn't already have May I ask which one that is? I picked up their Gypsy fiddle. Already had the Celtic and Bluegrass versions. They get major props for capturing the sounds and styles of the Celtic and Bluegrass fiddlers. I'm not ...

I might get those Boz pianos. Other than that, I’m left cold.
Had the AcousticSamples deal been a bit better I would have considered that, but I’m not in a hurry.

I have all those and more, so it’s hard to pony up for Berlin Brass. I bought Cinebrass on the recent glitch sale, have Adventure Brass and the rest of SM.
The SM Horn is really versatile and can be made to sound quite good.

Re: Cubase 13 [RELEASED]
I'll say this, Larry - I haven't used VEP for about 2 years after starting to use disabled tracks. It's not perfect - there are some libraries, like Action Strikes, that add to the Cubase file size by orders of magnitude more than anything else, so I find just leaving those out, or putting them in ...

Yeah Guy,
It’s like “as long as you’re going to play something heartfelt and warm, don’t worry your pretty little head about how much control you have over the actual notes.”

WTH is “unified memory” anyway? I understand that RAM isn’t exactly RAM anymore, but I don’t get how it works.

I don’t make enough use of the strings that I have but for $60 I will just buy these and assume I will find use for them.

“But then I remembered the work needed just to add the library into my template, and thought better of it. A few years back I wouldn't have hesitated to get a strings library at that pricepoint.” Linos, THIS I can relate to. What a PITA. However, listening through there seems to be a pleasing sound ...

Very sensible. Do you (can you?) unload the arts you don’t want to save RAM?
OT-I’ve always loved the mod wheel controlled French Horns shorts patch-because of the long portato option, I can often get a whole horn part out of it (non legato, but still.) The short shorts are nicely punchy.
