Re: ProjectSAM: Symphobia 3 Lumina 2.0, 30% off intro offer
Yes, there is just something about the sound of those recordings that makes me grin. I believe Pandora may have been the first to get the face lift, so it is already at the same level as the others, but I could be (and often am) wrong. Yes, there surely is something special with these libraries. Th...

Re: ProjectSAM: Symphobia 3 Lumina 2.0, 30% off intro offer
Hi,
I managed to get both Lumina ver 2.0 , and Symphobia 4 (Pandora) !
Great libraries from ProjectSam. I would love them to make a Ver. 2 of Symphobia 4 (Pandora). it would be awesome !
Cheers,
Muziksculp

Re: EastWest / Hollywood Orchestra OPUS Edition
Hi, With regards to EW-HOOPUS. I agree, it is still a wonderful orch. library to use. The OPUS player is fantastic, very efficient, and offers a lot of features,, and editing parameters. By the way Nick Pheonix mentioned (on VI-C), that something BIG is coming to EW-HOOPUS during Dec. , so I'm super...

Re: Cherry Audio / GX-80
I'm looking forward to receive my ROLI Seaboard 2 Keyboard during Dec. , I ordered it back in March. It should be very cool to test it with the GX-80, and many other MPE capable VSTs, and even HW Synths.

Re: Cherry Audio / GX-80
I've read a few other people saying that too, but I don't have a single issue with the performance of GX-80 so far. Seems to consume about the same resources as the Elka-X. Just checked it again, picking a dozen or so presets at random, and the highest the CPU-meter ever rises is somewhere around 3...

Re: Cherry Audio / GX-80
It's pretty impressive, yes. Took me quite some time before I fell under the spell of Cherry Audio — their first few releases never quite convinced me, I must admit — but since the Elka-X, I'm a convert. And Sines is my favourite of the lot. I really, really like Sines. What stops the GX-80 from be...

Re: Cherry Audio / GX-80
Hi, imho. The GX-80 is the best VST Synth I purchased this year, and I would even easily say that it is already one of my favorite VST Synths. I hope Cherry Audio can improve the CPU usage efficiency, it not good right now, But i have been successfully able to work with it with no CPU issues when I ...

Fantastic Library. Lumina ver 2.0
I finally got it to complete the Symphobia Trio collection. They are awesome libraries. (Symphobia 1 , 2 , and Lumina all ver 2.0 ).
I'm tempted by #4

Re: Spitfire Audio : Abbey Road Orch. (Low-Perc.) Released
Hi, Lowering the Max Voices in the settings of the Spitfire Audio Player to 45, or 64 fixed the CPU overload issues when using more than one mic. If you are experiencing heavy CPU usage, or spikes, lower your Max Voices setting to 64. and test to see if that fixed the issue. I'm also getting better ...

Re: Spitfire Audio : Abbey Road Orch. (Low-Perc.) Released
Add to that they now plan to release a whole new orch, library using their player, which will surely not be able to deliver any decent performance, unless it get a major boost in efficiency, better coding. or maybe get a new team to make your foundation software.

Re: Spitfire Audio : Abbey Road Orch. (Low-Perc.) Released
I hope they can improve their Spitfire Player soon, It's super heavy on CPU when enabling multiple mic options, This is a problem, giving us all these mic options, yet using a Player can't deal with it.

Re: Strymon BigSky Reverb Plugin
I'm a big fan of the Strymon BigSky FX Pedal, I also love their Night Sky Pedal. The Plugin version of the BigSky sounds wonderful, and is easier to use than using the Pedal, plus you can use multiple instances of it in your DAW. I initially had the same reaction regarding the price of the BigSky pl...

Re: Orchestral Tools / Loire (Creative Soundpack)
I might skip this library, no interest in the plucky-key stuff, The Musette, is my main interest, but I think I might have other options already from other developers. Also the Tuba seems to be limited, and not very agile in this library. Maybe buy the Musette when I can buy it a-la-Carte. in the fu...

Re: Incirios announcement - a new sampler and audio engine
Very excited about this. Finally, a serious Kontakt competitor. If they manage, and maintain the entire eco-system of this sampler in a wise, and attractive manner, this could mean the fading of Kontakt as we know it, and the emergence of INCIRIOS in its place. Looking forward to October. Exciting t...

I don't see anything special that I would need in Komplete 14, I will most likely just purchase Kontakt 7 Upgrade if that is offered. Hopefully they will offer an attractive Upgrade price from Kontakt 6.

Re: Orchestral Tools / updated Berlin Strings + True Consordino
The update is for Berlin Symphonic Strings, I think it is around 5 GB , it offers expressive and molto-vibrato violins 1 options, in addition to legato improvements to the library, they don't have an update for the Berlin Strings (Main) library yet. But I think they plan to release those updates in ...
