Re: Another iZotope free product (til 10th March) - DDLY Dynamic Delay

It does indeed "work", RK, but then again how much I will ever use it is 'the question'. :) In any case, I'm with Marius re. the interface......I'm not fond of it at all. But it and Vinyl are free, so I'll just say a sincere thanks to Izotope and leave it at that for now.

Re: Octohorn French Horns

Actually my first concern was the short articulations, but the latest demo they posted today suggests they can be more 'crisp' than first thought. As for the dynamics, well, while they might not be as wide as one might wish, I feel there's enough there to use this library effectively. There are thin...

Re: Octohorn French Horns

You may be interested in listening to the first walkthrough of this library. It should give listeners a much clearer idea of what is possible and what isn't. Overall, I'm liking what I hear, but as always, I expect some you here will wish to dissect it in greater depth. :) First quick video walkthro...

Re: Indiginus Renegade (Fender Telecaster)

Bought this yesterday, and for the next three hours I did nothing but play it, jam, and go through the manual. Love i It includes some very interesting, usable and varied snapshots as well. IMHO...a no-brainer purchase, whether or not one is a guitarist.

Octohorn French Horns

A new french horn library I've just discovered... We are very proud to release the first part of our brass library - Octohorn, featuring seven mic positions, plus a wide array of tools and implemented techniques to achieve the most sonic-ally deep and true sound possible... http://auddict.com/octoho...

Re: Celemony Melodyne 4 released

Weird timing. Was just thinking about a new Melodyne yesterday, even though I haven't used it for a long time....and today I see this announcement. Maybe I'm psychic? :) No comment!

Do most of you use it separately from your DAW ?
Occasionally, but most times I use it inside Cubase. Don't forget too it has many more uses than just for mastering, so it can be used on individual audio tracks as well.

I received the "stand by" email, but then nothing about any discounts or whatever. Maybe I already have too much Spitfire stuff? :)

What is the difference between the PCM reverbs and the LXP ones...other than the latter only has 4 rooms?

Re: Black Friday - the essential guide

Larry, Yes, Premier2. There's no risk anymore of buying the wrong version because the original (v1) is no longer part of the Premier-catalog. And enamored is le mot juste , yes. X, Piet, another quick question: are the slides controllable on that instrument. For example are the duration/lengths set...

Aah, very tempting... tough sound.
Very happy with Temple Drums; they aren't the run-of-the-mill instruments, and are well recorded and produced. Great bargain at that price.

Re: Black Friday - the essential guide

Does Spitfire Audio do Black Friday sales on any of their products? Specifically I'm looking at Albion One. Only Spitfire knows for sure, but since Albion One is so 'new', I would guess it may not be on sale just yet. Perhaps they may do a % of ALL products though, so we'll just have to wait and se...

Re: iZotope Ozone 7 - released

Anyone updated to version 7 yet? I've always only used the basic version, but am considering upgrading to Advanced so am looking for any input anyone cares to offer.
