Re: Cubase 9

I'll go back to a point I made earlier about the lower window. I think they are definitely pitching this screen layout towards big 4K monitors. Are they concentrating on professional users? I think not, because that market is shrinking. Is it worth the update money? Well, I'm on the bandwagon so onw...

Re: Cubase 9

My first thought is not to do with laptop but more to do with a single large 4K screen. Just the one and not this multiple screen thing I'm using atm.

Re: Kush & A-Designs / Hammer EQ

It would probably be easier to post before and after audio files. I'm busy right now but as I get a chance.
you would think that any fully adjustable EQ could match the effect this plugin gives and yet?...........maybe my ears are getting old.

Re: Kush & A-Designs / Hammer EQ

It took me a while to decide on spending money on this plugin because I really am getting more wary about the claims being made on everything coming out these days but............ it just does something to the mix I haven't found a way of doing with any other EQ.

Re: Computer Generated Music

I'm with you on that Larry, recorded music has never had less value in its history but, computer generated music will never have any value for anyone other than a computer generated listener. The real understanding of this will be by more study of our microbiome rather than out towards the perceived...

Re: iZotope announces Neutron mixing software

Throughout the video I kept thinking to myself, 'How did they arrive at these particular control algorithms? They are a certain level of enforcement of someone's sense of taste and beauty. Would we ever get designer algos from the famous mixers. Exactly what I was thinking. Unless the final analysi...

Re: Celemony Melodyne 4

Quick question: Are the changes you seek to be from an audio track with no rall? The 7th thing? no probs, the rall? hmmm!

After a quick check: The difficulty is lengthening while keeping note attacks constant.

I'd like to do some tests but I may not have the time this week as I have a heavier than usual day job schedule that will also include evenings of fine dining and the odd dram.

Danelectro 12 string ?
Sounds really horrible to me.

Here is my first 12 string or at least one built in the 60's the brother of mine.
I wish I wasn't so old to remember :)

Re: AcousticSamples B5 / sample-synthesized Hammond

People, I'm embarrassed to admit that the samples I listened to (which I referred to as "sounding promising") were in fact from Acousticsamples (developed for the UVI environment) and not UVI's Hammer B. Exactly...................and that is why there have been quick updates for the FX, a...

Re: AcousticSamples B5 / sample-synthesized Hammond

Hard to explain Piet, if the drawbars are the same then something else is at work. I've got to say, in these examples I absolutely dig the second version every time. The first is just more in your face, the second more ambient. And yes, I have both but not the playing ability to create such examples...

Re: Flux:: / BitterSweet Pro v3 (Transient Designer)

What's happened to Flux? This Flux Center thing is a nightmare. It keeps telling me I'm offline when I absolutely am online.
No way can I trial this Bittersweet Pro plugin and I'll just have to revert to the legacy versions of the other Flux plugins I have already.
Oh! I'm on Windows 10
