The soutillés are obviously supposed to play fast repetitions only. But then a spiccato patch is really missing as the staccatos are more or less detachés.

Walkthrough sounds better to me than the overprocessed demos. I like the playability of Adventuer Brass and it would be interesting if the Trailer Strings are as good.

Oh shit... when I got this mail today I immediately sorted it to spam because of the ugly green GUI. Now listening to the demos I really have to think about my conviction that I'll never need any more drum samples... damn! I'm a retro nerd and this is too good to ignore!

It's a simple marketing thing. They repackaged and updated the strings, brass and woods and this is the result in a box (without the box). The percussion got no update lately (and for my needs doesn't need one). Yepp, it's not a complete orchestra but the content is well documented. I don't think so...

Reality check is always a good thing. Brings everything into the right perspective. We only get closer if we compare... otherwise we would still operate with Roland sawtooth pads called "strings". And it's wise to know what doesn't work and where simulation has it's borders. Sure it's not ...

Looks like the suit Supermans grandpa (Supergrand) was wearing in the late seventies.

All that real hardware synths hype with the Eurorack modules just to put exactly that behind the monitor pane again.

On the other hand: if someone is really able to emulate hardware it's the softube guys!
