Every time I see a Sonokinetic sale I get interested, research the offerings, but end up shying away because I'm just not sure how I would use a phrase-based library...More of a workflow ignorance rather than a statement against using phrases in my productions. Anyone care to share how you utilize these types of libraries (particularly the orchestral offerings) in your workflow? Part of me thinks it might be a good source of inspiration, if nothing else...

Larry, you love that Brasil library, right? Should we all buy it?

Just to clarify, the only fully phrase based item in the sale is Sotto, all the other items are multi-sampled.

jneebz I hear you. I love the Sonokinetic sound and their recording philosophy, but phrase-based libraries don't suit my workflow. I'm lookimg forward to their 'multisampled' ochestral libraries. The woodwind ensembles are a promising start, but again not what suits my workflow.

I do, Guy. It sounds extremely live to me right out of the box.

The interface is kinda confusing, but you know me, I'm a dive-in fellow. I'm sure if you RTFM, it all becomes clear. Anyway, total no-brainer price!
