I couldn’t find a topic on this after searching so I thought I would point us to this concise summery of the new Midi 2.0 standard, which I’m excited about since it’s not only backward compatible, but could actually improve performance on devices built with midi 1.0.
Some amazing tech with room for new midi messages, and will allow for 2 way dialog, making the way for auto configuration and possible “moving fader” functionality on CC messages.
