Hi,

OK, I will go first .

I'm looking forward to see these items released during this month (Dec.)

1. Performance Sample : Pacific Strings
2. Audio Ollie : Nashville Strings Update
3. New major addition to EW-HOOPUS
4. New VST Synth from Synapse Audio
5. CineSamples Ver. 2.0 Updates for CineStrings Core. (Although I doubt they will be out this year ).

Cheers,
Muziksculp

As a new Opus owner, I'm curious to see what (3) turns out to be. I'm pretty impressed so far, but the update I'd really want is one where all the CCs are standardised (and a one-click option to remove ninente from everything too, if I'm being greedy).

What's the story with 5? I heard maybe a decade ago they were doing Cinestrings Pro... I must have hallucinated it because I seem to recall twitter posts saying they were actually recording it. Did this morph into an update for Core?

Something completely different, but eagerly waiting here for the Quad Cortex to be updated to version 2.0 (since October in beta). For anyone not familiar, it's a modeling amp like Kemper or Fractal.
The 2.0 version will add a complete overhaul of the file managing system for organising the presets, captures etc and as well a hybrid mode and a few other things, but the new managing system and hybrid mode are really things I am looking forward to!

I'm hoping my music will get good in december :)

OK, all kidding aside, I'm also curious about #3 (though I'm not sure where you heard that?) and secondly I hope Mike Verta will do another unleashed though I don't have particularly high hopes.

I think that Nashville Strings Update might have evaporated.

Not really making a lot of music recently. So no rush. But I would love to try pacific strings eventually. Studio Series Percussion would also be kinda interesting.

I keep saying that there is nothing that I need and then something shows up and it seems I do:)

I needed storage space and got a 4TB SSD and a Thunderbolt hub. Unexciting but necessary

I'd love a sale on u-he Diva. Anyone know what the usual low end pricing is for that one when on sale? Looks like standard is $179

Unless they do another NI-related sale, the best bet is to look out for the annual coupon that usually appears this time of year. You have to fill in a questionnaire.

4. New VST Synth from Synapse Audio
Sounds juicy, but that's the first I hear. Is that a generic wish or something you have heard about?

Thank you, Guy, and not to be dense, but where would I find the questionnaire?

I’ll certainly yell about it here if it shows up this time!

LOL.. No it's not a generic wish ;)

It's a new synth project with Hans Zimmer's involvement some how. I saw something about it on social media. It is expected to release during Dec. 2022. So.. Just a few weeks left now.

I’m a little curious about the “update from Tallinn” that Orchestral tools teased here:

An update from Tallinn ahead of a very special announcement

Best,

Geoff

I wasn't looking or waiting for something special but the last week I bought these:
• Invigorate, Newfangled Audio
• RePitch, SynchroArts
• Kirchhoff EQ, Three Body Tech

And they all kind of adress the same thing, for me at least. Workflow. Invigorate just "works" and is superfast to setup. RePitch together with VocAlign Pro is a serious workflow booster when you're dealing with vocals. Kirchoff EQ is perhaps not so much a workflow booster as much as a swiss-eq-knife which do several things in one plugin.

Did I need any of them? No, I didn't think so. But they do fill a need, a constant workflow enhancing need.
