Re: Spitfire / British Drama Toolkit: Brass and Reeds

It sounds good for what it does, but I think Albion NEO covers probably 90% of this ground already.

Re: Incoming / major True Strike and Symphobia updates

There's a True Strike 2.1 update, but no Symphobia yet - at least not on my end.

Re: Incoming / major True Strike and Symphobia updates

Is ProjectSAM going to their own player? The 'Library" tab makes me wonder?

Re: Premier Sound Factory / Acoustic Bass G (re-release)

@Peit I most definitely have an EXS version and I'm sure I didn't convert it myself. I started using it when the Kontakt version broke a few updates back. They must have released it after you purchased yours - I bought my copy on your recommendation.

Re: Spitfire BBC Symphony Orchestra

It is more of the Twitch crowd his format appeals to, I think. I have a few friends who have twitch on all day while they work - keeps them company. I'm sure if he condensed it to even 20-30 minutes, he'd have a few more views.

Re: Premier Sound Factory / Acoustic Bass G (re-release)

I'll just keep the EXS version going for now - does seem a bit odd they are charging so much for an upgrade that is really just a port...

(edited to stop a flame war)

Looks like a great product! I like Spitfire and other developers and hope they can innovate in the future.

Re: ProjectSAM: new pricing and Pandora release date

I have never regretted a ProjectSAM purchase - I've gotten more use out of some libraries and less from others, but never a regret. The price reductions are fantastic for those looking to get into the ProjectSAM sound. Looking forward to what Pandora has to offer!

Re: Spitfire BBC Symphony Orchestra

I"m definitely looking forward to this library! I have a LOT of orchestral samples already, but each library has a different sound - do my clients know the difference? Probably not, but I tend to stay more engaged when I know I can get closer to the sound I want with a particular library. And t...

Yes no word on AU3, which they have said they were working on... hopefully it will come out in the details because the last thing I need is more orchestra samples right now.

Re: ProjectSAM Symphobia series 1.6 updates inc new content

That they are still updating a product from 2004 (speaking of Symphobia I) is astonishing, add to that the updates are STILL free, and many of the sounds are still useful - I love ProjectSAM!

Looking for Edmonton Canada based composer

Hi. I've been working with a guy who composes piano/epic style music, but he really needs someone local to sit with and sift through his files. He has a small but reasonable budget. PM me if you are interested and in Edmonton (or thereabouts).

Thanks,
Dan
