If you've bought the Zebra Bundle, you should be on my mailing list and get my newsletter with the discount code.

If you didn't get it for any reason, PM me.

Re: The Unfinished / Zebra Velium

Bought it. It had better be good... I listened to zero demos. And I'm leaving the country for two weeks, hopefully it will still be good when I get back and can actually use it! No Chillbot, I'm going to sneak into your computer whilst you're away and make all the patches terrible. :) Thanks to eve...

As far as the Deluxe version. I have Trillian but not the Moog soundset. Will the Deluxe still operate with the Trillian sounds or should I skip the deluxe version this time around?
You'll be able to use the 32 bonus patches that use Trilian soundsources but, obviously, not the Moog ones.

Re: The Unfinished: Omnisphere Pangaea

Well, yes Guy, you are indeed monumentally boring on this subject. I know people have been urging you to write a book, but let me tell you now, they're going to skip the fucking chapter on tagging in Omnisphere. :) I'd like to search ALL Matt's libraries, for example. One thing I can think of is tha...

I'm not much of a fan of trailer music either.

I'm also not much of a fan of threads about trailer music always being mostly people saying they don't like trailer music.

It's actually £1,499 inc VAT, because suddenly ALL product prices are now saying "inc VAT"!

Re: The Unfinished Colossus II

The stars thing was an error that crept in due to a few last minute changes... needless to say a "reset all star ratings" function would be a nice thing to have! But thanks for the kind words Guy. I have a bunch of ideas for new Omnisphere soundsets that will cover different territory (alt...

They're having some kind of sale. Not sure it's Black Friday specific though.

Re: Black Friday - the essential guide. 2016 Edition

So far, I've picked up the Arturia V Collection 5 (because apparently I need MORE bloody softsynths!) and also the Eventide compressor, because I liked its snappiness.

Have one eye on Metropolis Ark, but am not sure yet.

Soniccouture are starting a sale on the 25th, definitely worth adding!

This is so up my street. I use the flautato patches from Loegria and Chamber Strings all the time, so a whole orchestra dedicated to that level of sound is a most beautiful prospect.

Re: Vengeance Producer Suite - Avenger synth

As I mentioned to you elsewhere, Guy... I think this is a potentially terrific synth if you haven't already got all this covered elsewhere. Which I suspect most people into softsynths will have. If you want to pare that all down to using just one synth (instead of using Spire, Serum, Massive, Sylent...

Hmmmmmm... Not Jon Hopkins, is it? I wasn't commenting on the music. I think Spectrasonics deserve all the plaudits and success they get and more besides. I just wonder what such ostentatiousness looks like to Joe Consumer on the launch of a new, not inexpensive product. Maybe it's the LA schmooze ...

Re: Here we go Spectrasonics.

I think all in all it's a really good product at a very fair price that will fill a gap that some people have. I'm just not sure whether "enough" people have that gap. In some ways, it feels more like an Omnisphere expansion (as Trilian has technically become) rather than an instrument in ...

I think combining different keys will be interesting and I can see me getting it and making a soundset (especially with the Omnisphere integration)... but more than that? I'm not really sure. All those electric keyboards... It really doesn't feel like something I don't already have. But, that's befo...

Re: Here we go Spectrasonics.

Have Spectrasonics over-hyped anything? All I've seen them do is start a countdown and mention it's taken them 10 years to develop whatever it is. The hype is entirely in people's own imaginations because they can't wait a week without whipping themselves into a frenzy. I'm quite happily going to be...
