Re: Spitfire Audio BBC SO Piano

Yeah, almost everything is a pass for me this year, even things I want; but I’m very happy with what I already have, so it’s fine. I’m especially satisfied with my piano libraries, but to play along… They didn’t mic the kitchen sink, so a hard pass for me too! Good to see you back online, Muzikscul...

Sorry, I don't need another PIANO. Regardless of where it was recorded.

A HUGE PASS for me on this.

Re: CineSamples : CineStrings Core Ver. 2.0 Update Released

Tested the new CS Core ver 2.0 for around 30 min. VLNS 1 Sustains seem to have an issue when releasing the notes, it plays some odd sounds, instead of the release samples. They sound like oil sizzling in a frying pan. The legatos are a bit less buggy when using two mics, but if I use more than two m...

Re: Orchestral Tools / Berlin Woodwinds Bundle for SINE

What I find really odd about the SINE player is it doesn't specify the name of the library loaded on the interface. It makes me wonder how they left out such a basic, and important detail when they designed this player. i.e. If I have two instances of SINE Player, one loaded with Berlin Strings (Sus...

Re: Orchestral Tools / Berlin Woodwinds Bundle for SINE

Hi, Cool releases from OT. OT mentioned that they have improved the legatos of their Berlin Woodwinds in SINE via an update. Has anyone tested these new Legatos for their quality ? I have the library, but have not installed it yet. So, I can't compare the improvements. I plan to install the Berlin W...

Re: Image Line acquire UVI (and UVI bundle sales)

Interesting news. Thanks for the heads up. 👍🏻 I wonder what this means for Falcon, and the UVI Workstation platform, and what attracted Image Line to go ahead with the purchase. I'm also curious if this will help improve/speed up development, and popularity of Falcon/UVI Player in the sample library...

Re: Spitfire Albion Colossus

OH, and I forgot to add, they also need to fix a lot of the bugs in their existing libraries, i.e. AR-2 Strings, Solo Strings, ...etc. also improve their Player.

I would rather see Spitfire Audio focus on their AR-1 Orchestral releases.

Surely a pass for me on this Albion release.

Re: M2 Macbook Pro and Mac Minis released

Cool new M2 based computers from Apple. But, I have no interest in them, because I'm waiting to see what the next gen. Mac Pro is going to offer. My current studio PCs are 10+ years old. So, I have a big, and critical decision to make this year. Go with a Custom high-end PC or the next gen. Mac Pro ...

So far I have not seen any videos showing the Sound Engine (EagenMatrix) being edited/tweaked via the Software Editor. The video I posted above mentions bugs, and a bumpy road with regards to installing, upgrading firmware, frequent Crashes, ..etc I think the developer of the software is another com...

Re: Incoming / Expressive E 'Osmose'

I got mine! (I was an early bird preorderer.) It absolutely delivered and exceeded expectations IMHO. It feels really nice to play, it's super responsive. As for the built in synth engine... don't expect superbly realistic orchestral stuff. It was never intended to do that, nor it will. It's a very...

Re: EastWest / Hollywood Orchestra OPUS Edition

EW-Hollywwod Orch. OPUS (HOOPUS) was supposed to get a big new Addition during December last year, well.. that didn't materialize, so I wonder when it will be released this year.

This was something that Nick Phoenix of EW mentioned on VI-C forum a while back. But no more info about it since then.

4. New VST Synth from Synapse Audio Sounds juicy, but that's the first I hear. Is that a generic wish or something you have heard about? LOL.. No it's not a generic wish ;) It's a new synth project with Hans Zimmer's involvement some how. I saw something about it on social media. It is expected to ...
