Re: Modern Scoring Strings (aka LASS 3)
You're probably right on RRP, that's been a fantasy figure since the LASS days IIRC. So it's $399 for MSS which is $549 for other buyers (with supposed intro discount) and $549 including the extra legatos and that's $798 for everyone else. (there's also prices with less reduction for other Audiobro...

Re: Modern Scoring Strings (aka LASS 3)
$549 for full, no first chairs. I thought by the way they said it the price would have been a hundred or two less.

Re: Modern Scoring Strings (aka LASS 3)
I must admit that the pricing for full LASS owners (including Sordino Legatos in my case) wasn’t as attractive as I had hoped. To pay well over $500 for the new library after the announcements of how happy we’d be, well. I’m not so happy with the loyalty pricing. I paid heavily for LASS and though I...

Re: BBC SO 360 experience.
I bought Core. The price seemed right, but I think it’s simple conspicuous consumption, as I’m not sure WHY I bought it.

I can only say that Cinesamples string runs and Hollywoodwinds runs have blended just fine with anything I used them for.

Re: Spitfire Audio: The Ton 4 day deal
I bought the deal, tried the harp and like the tone, haven’t figured out the glisses yet, not intuitive, time for the manual.
Whatever use I get from Orchestral Swarm is a complete bonus, same with the mallets as the entire price of the deal is less than what the harp was. I’m pleased.

Yikes. I was about to press that button for $76!
Probably best-for as much as I use B-3s, the Vintage Organs in Komplete are fine (though I liked their B4 better.)

Re: Realitone / Sunset Strings / pre-release
Some really interesting stuff, Mike. No legato, correct? I see this as more of a specialty library in general than a bread n' butter library.
One thing, and it's critical-you MUST CUT OUT HALF THE CHUCKLES FROM YOUR VO.

Re: Spectrasonics Trilian 1.5 released
Eric has a certain way of making me feel guilty. I’m an original owner of Trilogy, Atmosphere and Stylus. The three were expanded into Trilian, Omnisphere and Stylus RMX at ridiculously low or no cost, and I’m still using all three. I’ve avoided Omni 2 because I’ve never gotten through all the patch...
