Zynaptiq Orange Vocoder Redux!

Post by X-bassist »

Clearly I’m a fan of vocoding (see other threads on the issue) and my search for intelligable vocoding may be coming to an end. I’ve been waiting for this rerelease for a long time (had the original and really liked it), but didn’t realize they put out a video at NAMM. The audio is not great but the vocoder seems amazingly well done. I suppose I should expect it from Z. :)

Thanks X,

That's great news. Really looking forward to seeing a higher audio quality video from them.
I was at NAMM for two days but missed this. There was so much at the show this year I could have used just a bit more time to take in all I was interested in.

Looking forward to this one as well! Haven't used it for some time, migrated to Waldorf Lector just for the VST support.

Looking forward to this, but will wait for proper videos and ultimately a demo.

Because of incompatibility, I haven't used it since the Prosoniq days, but I'm looking forward to learning more, including the price. Will definitely be asking if there will be a discount for previous owners. :) but that might be asking too much.

In the video here talks about a discount, regardless of how old your copy is.

And while we're talking vocoders, if I may, Behringer is going to clone the VP330.

PhJ-thank you for the water torture link . I tried to turn it off, but it kept turning itself back on.
So THIS is that Convergence they've all been talking about :)
