Wanted: Sound Designer and Mixer for Book Trailer

For the past three trailers in a book series, I've been doing the music and all has been well, except that we never could find a reliable sound designer/mixer to work with. This is a NYT best-selling series for Young Adults, and the fourth book is slated to come out this summer. The trailer for the fourth book should be ready for MX and SFX next week, and after that's nailed down, of course it would need to be mixed. The total time frame is two weeks, from beginning to delivery, and I'm told there should be quite a bit of SFX work.

Here are the three trailers from the previous books, going all the way back to 2013. Please have a look so you know what we've done in the past:

Trailer 1 - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=eqnU3ZqvL1k
Trailer 2 - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EDHTWDnwBbU
Trailer 3 - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7kcf5HorcpQ

Location is not an issue, as long as the person in question is fast and good with communication. We are based in NY and LA, so people who are Stateside would have an easier time, but it's not mandatory.

I would be working with you a bit, as we try to carve out the proper space for MX and SFX, and craft a solid mix, but the main directions would come from the producer and the writer himself, who is also a filmmaker and therefore knows the process very well.

Budget: there is one. Keep in mind that this is not a movie trailer, so we're not looking at those kind of figures, but I think it's reasonable for the kind and length of work we are being asked to do. Having said that, I do not have precise figures. That's something that will need to be negotiated with the writer.

If anyone is interested or knows of someone who fits the bill, I'd be grateful and would forward the information.

Wow just have to say Luciano, trailer no 3 in particular is TREMENDOUS - what a combination of images, SFX and music - super high quality in all three - and the combination is even greater than the sum of the parts... best trailer I've seen in a long time.

Thank you Paul, that's very kind of you. The people involved all care deeply about getting things right. I admit to the third one being my favorite of late as well, though I would still like to change soooo much of the music, hopefully for the better!
