PA / $10 Weekend Deal

This weekend, there are four plugins on sale over at Plugin Alliance and there's one — the Vertigo VSS-2 — which I'd buy immediately if I didn't have all the Vertigo Sound plugins (which are combined in this VSS-2) already.

People sometimes get a little confused about all this Vertigo stuff, so let me explain:
(1) Vertigo Sound is a company that makes high-end studio hardware.
(2) Brainworx modelled some of these Vertigo boxes and the result consists of two Plugin Alliance plugins (the VSC-2 compressor and the VSM-3 mojo box) which were also licensed to Universal Audio.
(3) Some years ago, Vertigo Sound themselves began working on their own software models of their hardware — comparable to what Heritage Audio is doing at the moment — resulting in 4 high-quality (but rather expensive) plugins. So, to be clear, these are in-house Vertigo Sound creations, nothing to do with Brainworx, nothing that I know of anyway.
(4) A little while ago, Plugin Alliance came out with the VSS-2 which, surprisingly, is NOT another Brainworx plugin, but an actual Vertigo-made channel strip plug-in that combines parts of their 4 existing plugins. A sort of "best of Vertigo Sound" in one plug-in, if you will.

And it is this "best of" that is this weekend available for $10. Which is a crazier than crazy price.

Have been very busy this weekend and missed your post. But it's still on discount for 19,99. Got it for this price which still is ok. I use the bx VSS-3 a lot and I'm really curious about this channel strip.

I bought it as well, though I haven’t integrated it into my workflow or given it more than a cursory listen.

Just a very short try out with Pianoec after activating sounded VERY PROMISING! I'm pretty sure it will be used a lot by me. Only the Asio meter jumped up quite a bit after inserting.
