I still have never bonded with Falcon, I find the UX the least appealing of anything I own. But credit where it's due - free annual updates and they have at least made browser improvements.
And a word of praise to Simon Stockhausen. His expansions are absolutely jawdropping. A new one out today, Escapism - Middle Eastern flavoured hybrid instruments and soundscapes that are to die for. There's a 2for1 on expansions at the moment.
Yeah that is something that I hear often, you either click with Falcon or you don't it seems Most of the bespoke work I do for other composers is for Falcon. Most of them love it for the fx, the endless options it has and the relative "clean" sound. Omnisphere always has a distinctive sound, same with Zebra and is great if you are looking for that, but it seems that a lot are looking also for a more "neutral and clean" output.
Simon is a beast haha, I have not checked the new expansion, but not doubt it is amazing as usual.

Word of warning to people who use VI Labs Modern D (I do daily), apparently there's an issue with it running correctly in the latest Falcon update... VI Labs and UVI are working together to figure it out. It still works fine in UVI Workstation, which is what I use anyway, so no worries there.
I've almost bought Falcon numerous times but I already have more powerful soft synths than I can use! UVI is a solid developer, though. Their Workstation is my favorite platform for virtual pianos in particular.
