Sonny Rollins was so iconic and timeless that I sometimes thought he was immortal.
He made it to 95. R.I.P.

One of the last true 20th century jazz giants has left the earth.
I have seen him life once and all I remember was a totally joyfull Sonny Rollins who transfered his positive energy to the audience. This really is the best a musician can do imo and he did it for decades.
