The Sound Board

Ever since I discovered Soundbox and the way it lets you blend and morph between sounds, I thought "wouldn't it be awesome to have the Iremia sounds in this and just morph from any articulation into any other?"...and then I thought..."wouldn't it be great if I could also play all the instruments together in a single patch and instantly get that Iremia sound world?"

So for the last few months I've been working on finding the best way to achieve this. For a long time I was experimenting with using sample trickery to make the ensemble bigger. At one point it was an a9 ensemble, then a6, before I finally tried the simplest approach and just made it a3, and there it was...an ensemble that fully preserves the delicate sound world of the Iremia series, with the convenience and speed of an ensemble patch. Something that I can play with 2 hands and get incredible results quickly when I'm under a deadline.
