DEVPROAUDIO has released REVERSIDE 1.0.0, a reverb for macOS and Windows
in VST3, CLAP, and AudioUnit v2 formats.

At its core, REVERSIDE is a versatile dual-engine fully algorithmic reverb. It
gives separate control over the early reflections and the reverb tail, allowing
users to shape the sense of space, depth, stereo width, tone, and decay in far
more detail than a typical one-block reverb. Sonically, it can deliver
everything from natural rooms and halls to silky-smooth long tail decays and
larger, more stylized, cinematic, and experimental spaces.

REVERSIDE also goes further than a conventional reverb. It implements a 3D
spatial positioning system in which both source/listener placement and the
geometry of the virtual space shape the result. That means the directional
character of both the early reflections and the reverb tail changes with the
actual disposition inside the room, so the sense of depth, width, and direction
comes from the structure of the space rather than from simple stereo placement
alone. This makes it possible to build a more coherent arrangement of multiple
instruments inside one shared mixing space, instead of treating reverb as a
separate wash added at the end. An interactive 3D Position Display shows the
setup visually.

For users who like to shape spaces in depth, REVERSIDE offers a large parameter
set with both physically inspired room controls and familiar musical reverb
controls. The early and late engines each have their own 3-band filters, 3-band
EQ, stereo tools, modulation, and dedicated mini diffusers for added density
and texture. REVERSIDE also allows different reverb times, extended envelope
settings, and decay filter gains for the left and right channels, or in Mid/Side
mode, opening the door to unusual and highly expressive spatial effects.

A pitch-preserving modulation system with more than 100 internal LFOs can
animate many parts of the algorithm while preserving harmonic detail in the
tail, avoiding the pitch smear often associated with conventional delay- or
FM-based reverb modulation.

REVERSIDE also includes independent pre-delay controls for the early and late
engines, with free and tempo-synced modes. Because the late engine can also be
timed in relation to the early engine, it can move beyond conventional reverb
timing into rhythmic, tempo-locked spatial and delay-like effects. With
dedicated density modes that can shift the response toward resonant, echo-like
behavior, REVERSIDE can also produce true delay-style effects and everything in
between.

This unusually broad level of control is organized through a layered editing
system. The Easy and Main pages act as central hubs, while deeper editing pages
give access to Reflections, Position, Reverb, Filters, EQ, Stereo, Diffusers,
and Modulation.

For faster work, users can stay on the Easy page, focus on the essential
controls, and start from a preset library with hundreds of starting points,
including contributions from RumbaCodex and Nirto (NSONICS). More third-party
libraries are planned.

Features:
- Versatile dual-engine fully algorithmic reverb with separate, highly tunable Early and Late Reflections engines.
- Deep control over space, tone, stereo image, timing, and decay.
- 3D positioning for placing a virtual source and listener inside a simulated acoustic space.
- Useful for building a coherent shared space for multiple instruments in a mix.
- Physically inspired room shaping plus familiar musical reverb controls.
- Material/ER and Decay filter follow/match modes for linking tonal behavior across the engines.
- 14 unique diffusion models.
- Dedicated mini diffusers on both engines for extra density and texture.
- Separate stereo controls for the Early and Late engines, with a special WIDE mode for the Late Reflections tail.
- ER-to-LR send control with selectable pickup point in the Early Reflections chain.
- Stereo shaping, filters, EQ, pitch-preserving modulation, and flexible pre-delay.
- Automatic modes for reflection count and reverb time, derived from the geometry of the virtual space.
- 3D processing can be switched separately for the direct path, Early Reflections, and Late Reflections, with selectable quality modes.
- Extended tail envelope mode for creating non-exponential decay profiles, especially useful for hall simulations.
- Two ways to control ER/LR and Dry/Wet mixing: balance-style workflow or absolute gain in dB, with automatic conversion between both views.
- Absolute and relative room-size modes for shaping dimensions in different ways.
- Can move from reverb into resonant, echo-like delay effects.
- Unique reverb density control that simulates scattering through irregular, split bounces.
- 100+ internal LFOs for animating many aspects of the algorithm while preserving harmonic detail in the tail.
- Rich visual feedback with an interactive Position Display, dedicated Reflections and Reverb displays, and angle views for directional reflection patterns.
- Hundreds of presets, including contributions from RumbaCodex and Nirto (NSONICS).
- Easy page for quick adjustments and fast preset-based workflow.
- GPU-rendered user interface that keeps more CPU available for audio DSP.
- Localizable user interface.
- User-adjustable UI color themes.
- Included color theme presets.
