UA Connect will launch every time you instantiate the plugin. If you don't like that sort of thing, delete all the UA Connect stuff once you're done installing. My UA plugs open fine without it. YMMV.

I wish Kontakt had folders on the side panel. That way I could put all my guitars in one panel, all my strings in one panel, etc etc. Tidy things up a bit, save all the scrolling.

You don't need a mic or headphones to use Bunker Strings, and you don't need Bunker Strings to use a mic or headphones. Thus it's probably a problem with your computer settings. Can you elaborate a little on your setup?

Installed Trash Lite (or Trash Free, depending on who at iZotope named which file). Looks fine.

Activated old Trash 2 license. Still no upgrade price, though they'll gladly sell me an upgrade from Iris/Breaktweaker/etc for $49.

BestService has the upgrade for ~$27 USD, though I'm not really tempted.

$79 (reg $99). Haven't seen anything about a discount for Trash 2 owners. Can't figure out how to get Trash Lite, but I'm not trying very hard. Oh! I just clicked and £19 for me who has Trash 2. That's below my impulse buy threshold, and I like the look of the X/Y pads to get a custom sound quickly...
