Re: Orchestral Tools / Berlin Orchestra 'Inspire'
Might be my 1st leap into OT, as I want to immerge myself into these warm waters for a couple of years. Have to find the cash though - I've missed Art Vista sales and my good plan about getting Emotional piano has vanished, ahah, so that might help in the grand scheme of things. I concur with Guy he...

I sure will demo it. Adaptiverb was kind of fun at times but too CPU hungry for my taste and wallet.

Superchord
https://www.lmdsp.com/ From the dev : "Superchord is a novel effect plug-in which emulates virtual strings resonating in sympathy with the input audio. The strings can be tuned to any pitch, and even be played live using MIDI keyboard, as an instrument. Superchord transforms your sounds into c...

yep , beautifully sounding indeed. demoing it since yesternite. More impressed than I was with R2. Don't know why since it's the same engine.

Re: Exponential Audio's new R4
@Jack : asI understand it, "vintage" goes for moving tails, espacially with a wobbling element in it, and chorus. It does make a difference, I think but as I said, I haven't been convinced by this R2 compared to some other offerings and for the price.

Re: ReLab news / VSR S24 (new!), LX480 update
Thanx Hannes. I was only demoing it. Trouble is, I have difficulties uninstalling it - after many install, uninstall, using a previous version nicely given by the dev - and the project I used it for (thankfully a 4 track thingy, just for trying the plugin) can't seem to reopen :it freezes when the &q...

Thanx for chiming in Hannes. Sorry to read it's that ressource hungry now... B2 is only 2instances (2 engines) allowed on my DAW - just demoed it.

Re: ReLab news / VSR S24 (new!), LX480 update
I had fun demoing it...and it has been a nightmare as well as it kept crashing my Cubase. The developper has been very nice and tried to help but after a 2nd period of demo he generously granted me I haven't resolve my issues. May be they are system/config related.Have you experienced anything weird...

About false advertising, as stated on the relevant SA product page :
"SSO is designed as a single, pro-level orchestral solution containing all three major families of the orchestra (woodwinds, brass, strings)"

Re: Vengeance Producer Suite - Avenger synth
thanx for your feedback Guy. BW, I've watched your vid 2 or 3 days ago. I agree with the UI factor : the way it leads you to a certain path or direction or inspiration. It's he reason I keep struggling churning patches in Zebra when it's so easy for me in Massive - particularily the MSEG sections in...

Re: Vengeance Producer Suite - Avenger synth
Sorry to insist on what you've already kind off stated Guy, but don't you think you could land to same sonic territories with Omni 2 ? Considering it has all these new raw synth waves... I have yet to update my Omni so don't know if I'll jump on the special Vengeance Christmas deal (when it ends up,...

Re: OT Metropolis Ark 2 Teaser
Yeah, VAT is the most unfair tax. 20 % is a lot, when it's not 21... And one of our candidate said he'll raise it if he happens to win the presidential election.

Re: OT Metropolis Ark 2 Teaser
Sounds promising..er, I mean great !
But I cannot fork the 480€ - not that expensive considering it's 100 gig or something. And after a few days it'll be even more out of reach.

Re: Vengeance Producer Suite - Avenger synth
Well,it surely is fun, though the demo powers off much to early to try to program sounds decently - decent sounds is another problem... I'm with you,Marius and Guy. Well thought out, kind of intuitive for someone who knows a fair bit about synths. Not expensive considering the breadth of sonic capab...

Re: Vengeance Producer Suite - Avenger synth
Thanx Guy ! Looks and sounds very promissing, though I tend to stay away from "usine à gaz"* all-in-one solution type of VSTi nowadays -guess I'm becoming too lazy and old to start from scratch. Like you, I'm looking for a step sequencer that could deliver nice patterns with whatever sound...

Re: Spitfire Albion V: Tundra
I don't know about that one, I mean, listening to the demos and walkthroughs. If I remember correctly,Sascha Knorr said something about Mr Thompson's walkthrough not being his cup of tea because they don't show enough aspects of the libraries or just simply not demonstrate what they're capable of, t...

Re: Spitfire Albion V: Tundra
Mr Henson justification is rather "don't use the gain button on your DAW but layer sounds to achieve higher dynamics" which makes sense.
He said he'll work a tuto to show how to layer properly with Tundra.

I'm just trying it, it's huge fun - should press the trigger on Valhalla shimmer as well, but at 49 bucks, I'm sure I'll grab it.
