Geist is a cool plugin! It's a bit like Abletons drum racks without being stuck to Ableton Live. Looking forward trying out the "version 2".

Looks interesting indeed.
I'm waiting for Guy to try the demo (hint hint :D) to see if this might be the thing to replace RMX.

Might be a long wait there! Just can't face slogging through it all. I remember canvassing opinion a while ago about Geist, and it seems very clever but not particularly quick or intuitive to work with. The RMX-killer door is still wide open.

Not an RMX killer, Geist 2 is more akin to a traditional drum machine. It can play rex files but that is not its forte. I almost never used the original but upgraded to this as its so much better. Much bigger scalable GUI/Transmod and great edit ability, definitely worth a demo.
