Re: Waves entering the piano game
Pao, BTW, harpsichords stacked beautifully with demonic virtuoso... just tossed them on and they all sit together for a thick, punchy, but not too harsh harpsichord... I couldn't get the organ to sit well with toccatta/mir though... I used the other organ with it excellently... the portable one (forgot the name)paoling wrote:You are ready to join the pastafarians!
Your organ has a much more churchy feel though, a little less menacing phantom of the Opera esque one... so I like it, but it''s just slightly going in the opposite direction than I need for my current project
But toccatta lacks the flutey/pipey sound that inwanted, so I used the portable one for a more "flutey" sound, and the clarinet and bass clarinet from spitfire symphonic woodwinds(secrets out)
And the pipes are excellent, as I expected
And in did have some good fun with the digi

well, first impression... this thing is horrible. Sounds like it has two velocity layers, stereo image is ugly, bad velocity response. There goes my money once again. I'll give it till tomorrow to listen with fresh ears, after that I'll delete the samples

That's what the online demos sounded like to me, Rob. Pretty bad.

better impression today... at least for pop productions this piano could be useful. The tone is muddy and a bit boxy, but it has body and I can see it as a vocal accompaniment...

To be fair, it's sold as a pop piano, right?

I've played this piano many times over the years at Metropolis Studios. The real thing is certainly voiced to favour rock repertoire!

I still enjoy it, but I'll keep both read for AB at the end of the day.
I know i had to change the velocity curve to make sense to me
