Pro Tools Ultimate subscription price drop

Someone at Avid noticed that $999 pa to subscribe to Ultimate - under the banner heading Flex - was on the steep side, so they dropped it to $599. The Flex branding has also gone, the only mystery being why it was ever introduced in the first place. Note - monthly subs stay at the same horrendous $99 (yes, PER MONTH), and annual support plan subscriptions for permanent license holders also remain the same.
