Is that the Weiss plugin that has been much lauded in these pages?

I bellieve that you're thinking of the Weiss MM-1 Mastering Maximizer, Larry. I recall that plug-in being mentioned enthusiastically quite a few times in the past. On the surface, the MM-1 is a very simple plugin that offers you a choice of five preset ways to maximize your tracks, but there are hardly any parameters to control the process.

It is, or used to be anyway, often on sale and when it is, it's the cheapest way to get some of that Weiss-thing going into your productions.
However, I just looked at its current price, and I'm amazed how expensive it is when not on sale: €165.83. But it wouldn't surprise me if, sometime during the next few weeks, it'll be included in this year's BF sale too. When it does, I'll make sure to mention it here in this thread.

The compressor/limiter that is a part of the current BF sale, is an entirely different plug-in.

Thank you, Piet.

I recently bought Saturn which I’m very fond of. I have yet to dig into the IK bundle I acquired during the recent mega sale and am adding Omni 3 and its processors soon.

Might have some work to do on all of those, think I’ll hold off for a while.

This Larry, I use it since 2023 on everything before bouncing.

P.S. Good Luck for the election!

That Weiss is one of the few plugins that if it goes on sale I want.

I don't know Larry, at least in these parts it turned out better than anyone had a right to hope!

Use code BLACKFRIDAYEXTRA15 on the Softube website to knock the price down to $46.75 (USD).
