East West Spaces II free with any sale item
It's Valentines day coming up, and nothing says true love than getting yourself a free convolution reverb bundled with a cut price sample library.
There are a few products here for $59 which is I think lower than Spaces II has ever been on its own. In fact, confusingly that is itself on sale for $119.
Who said romance was dead?

I went with Fantasy Percussion. Feels it could get a few uses. The reverb alone is worth it I guess.

My choice, too, Thomas, but I haven’t tested Percussion yet so no idea if I made the right decision or not.Thomas Mavian wrote: ↑Feb 06, 2026 9:18 am I went with Fantasy Percussion. Feels it could get a few uses. The reverb alone is worth it I guess.

I watched a few minutes of their walkthrough and the "Orcish Metals" patch was good enough reason for meplayz123 wrote: ↑Feb 06, 2026 10:13 amMy choice, too, Thomas, but I haven’t tested Percussion yet so no idea if I made the right decision or not.Thomas Mavian wrote: ↑Feb 06, 2026 9:18 am I went with Fantasy Percussion. It is, that being said, it could use a Version 3, or 2.x if there is not enough meat on the bone for now, but it needs a modern overhaul.

Thanks Georg, I may go for that.
I’m sort of out of the ethereal vocal phrases biz these days, but it might be the best alternative.

Re: East West Spaces II free with any sale item
I ended up grabbing Stormdrum 3 for $79 to get the Space II deal.
However, EW Installation Center is unable to connect to iLok, so I’m not yet able to activate anything. The EW software is using a user name and iLok is using my email address. There appears to be no option to update this in the EW software or in my profile in the EW website.
I’ve reached out to them via a help form from the website as well as a PM on Facebook. Hoping it’s something they can easily update on their end.

Probably stating the obvious, make sure you have the latest EW Installation center, and iLok installed. Apart from that, yep, blazing fast, helpful and friendly.

Re: East West Spaces II free with any sale item
Does anyone have String Machine? I never looked at it before cos although I adore vintage string machines I already have all I need. So I never really realised that's not really what the East West thing is, it is and it looks kinda fun. A $59 alt to the Fantasy sections and at 13gb not too crazy big.

Oh and a 2nd bonus question - do EW allow 2 activations with Spaces? I know you can just request an extra activation with Opus stuff.

I do. Improvised this a day after I had a look at String Machine.

Wow, it's not just a Solina through a phaser, is it?GR Baumann wrote: ↑Feb 11, 2026 5:42 amI do. Improvised this a day after I had a look at String Machine.
(Actually it's odd they don't have a phaser at all built in, it was one of the old classic sounds.

Nope. I just looked it up, as I did not remember being from Dec. 2023.
4x String Machine
1x Omnisphere
2x Forbidden Planet
8x Fantasy Orchestra
2x Sends Valhalla (Vintage Verb / Delay)
Wee bit Chandler and Weiss on the mix bus.

Nice catch, this is a very specific sound that I usually have to layer to achieve. Giving this a home on the drive - 13GB be damned.
Pale Blue Dot.

Re: East West Spaces II free with any sale item
I'm really fighting with this. It's a crazy stupid deal, it's something like £40 if bought from AudioDeluxe for String Machine and Spaces II.
I think i need a single solid reason. I know Spaces II is beloved, but I have Altiverb and I know I'll always prefer that cos it has a picture browser. I realise that sounds so dumb, but it totally works for me. Also Spaces doesn't have any good post-production domestic rooms. I'm perfectly happy with Seventh Heaven and Alitverb really.I know it's considered my sonically pure by some but my aging ears would never notice.
String Machine I really like it as a concept, take the form of a vintage machine but pimp it. But when will I use it?
If I could convince myself of ONE application I thought I'd use, it would tip me over the edge.
