Well, demos are subpar to what PS is used to, at least to my hears. Even the walkthrough with its lookhead feature demoed on a small phrase is unrealistic in the worst way. I just don’t understand :-(
And I consider myself indulgent.

Hi,

I have not visited this forum for quite some time, I actually thought it was closed/inactive. But that doesn't seem to be the case. I'm glad it's still alive and kicking.

I was very excited to finally see ProjectSam release a dedicated Strings Library, so far the feedback and posts about it have not been very positive, but rather the opposite. I think the shorts sound very good, but the legatos, and longs need some work. The library has many interesting, and useful features. It reminds me of Sonuscore's LUX-Strings Library.

I'm hoping that ProjectSam will change the status quo of this library once they release their first update to this library. I know they are perfectionists, and will be working hard to improve, and please many of us, they are reading all the comments about it, especially on the VI-C forum, taking notes about all the negative comments to tackle all of the mentioned negative comments about it. So it's just a matter of time, to see Linear Strings morph into a very popular Strings Library, and at a very attractive price point.

Cheers,
Muziksculp

In truth, alive and strolling might be more accurate than alive and kicking, but we are still here!

I do very much like the arranger in particular, I think it sounds absolutely gorgeous and I'm still somewhat mystified by all the negativity. Those legatos are very plain, and that may or not be a problem depending on the writing.
