Studio One is really coming along.

Also, M1 comparability. Very interesting.

EDIT : I removed the video.

It looks like they switched it to Private, maybe not ready for release yet, so I will post it again when they post it again on YT.

From the overwhelming number of replies here, I can tell there are not that many Studio One Pro 5 users on this forum.

Well I'm one at least :)

This was a great update, arrow tool in the note editor and updated functions of Faderport16 are my favourites so far. Haven't really had the time to explore the other stuff yet.

Also, had a few startup crashes last year which I finally managed to track down to some nasty plugins. Will be interesting to see if the new "emergency" startup options will be of any help should that happen again.

And, of course. They are quite good at bug squashing as well.

I was nearly ready to make the switch - just a couple of little things held me back. Still watching it's progress. But Reaper is working really well for me, so it's a bit of a longer shot than before.

Hi @Thomas Mavian,

OK, I feel a little better now that I'm not the only one on this forum using S1Pro 5. :)

I haven't installed the 5.2 update yet, but will do so, and see how I get along, lots of new features to discover.

This 5.2 update is imho. quite an improvement for media composers using Studio One Pro 5. More cool improvements will be coming in the next updates.

Cheers,
Muziksculp

I'm also using it, but since I haven't splurged on Sphere yet I'm always the last to know - well, actually lots of folks post that the updates exist, but I have to wait for the details. I'll live.

There are some really cool things in this update! I am curious to see the Faderport improvements, and I love the new arranger commands, but really, I think the integration with VSL Synchron libraries would have won me over, even though I have only a few. Hopefully other developers have taken note.

Hi @wst3,

Nice to see another Studio One Pro user on this forum :)

I'm not subscribed to the Sphere, but I do visit their forums on a weekly basis, just in case there is something I missing.

Yes, this 5.2 update is super cool, and useful especially for media/orchestral composers, and much more.

I also hope that other library developers will hop on the Sound-Variations wagon, and make working with their libraries more fun, and efficient for us. I love it when two forward thinking companies like VSL, and Presonus team up to make something very useful, and special.

Intriguing. I could lie and say I could consider switching from Logic Pro to it but we all know that isn’t going to happen.:)
