Audiothing has released Noises, an "experimental instrument with a playful and inspiring interface, designed to bring a vast world of noise into your music and audio productions". Could prove a very useful thing to have if you're doing contemporary sounddesign-ish music for media. Or if you just want to explore the musical possibilities (which are vast) of strange noises and filtered sound.
The noise used -- the plugin comes with over 1 GB of 'hand crafted' sound files -- is not just digitally generated noise, but it's sourced from a unique collection of rare hardware, various analog synths, tape machines, ... processed with all sorts of geeky gear, old and new.
Noises still sells at its introductory price of €45. The regular price will be €69.
