ADPTR Audio / Sculpt

ADPTR Audio, developers of a.o. the excellent metering tool Meter AB, have released a new plugin, Sculpt, a "dynamics, transient and tone-shaping workhorse". Sculpt consists of 4 modules running in parallel — (1) upwards compression, (2) downwards compression, (3) tone sculpting and (3) transient design — and also includes an advanced EQ and sidechain-EQ plus loads of other useful stuff. And the whole thing is driven by an all-new, very sophisticated, ultra-fast and distortion-free envelope detection algorithm. Quite something.

Being what it is and what it does, Sculpt is a tool that requires some study and practice, but if my first experiments with it are a good indication, you will get a lot in return.

The introduction price is $199 (regular price will be $299), but if you're a Plugin Alliance customer you might be able to get it for as low as $24.99 (the result of combining additional promo and vouchers). Which is what I did. Or you can wait a bit, because sooner or later, the price will plummet to $24.99 anyway, as is Plugin Alliance's prices' wont.
