New Jack Ryan film on Prime Video

I watched the new “Jack Ryan Ghost War” movie last night. It was entertaining, and well acted but I was a little bit disappointed. What’s always been most interesting to me about the character is his brain, his ability to analyze and figure things out. There’s some of that but most of this film is combat scenes. Again, well executed, but just less interesting to me personally.

Can't be certain, but I am pretty sure Tom Clancy has little or nothing to do with recent Jack Ryan stories. He started working with ghost writers a long time ago, and the brand lost some of its lustre.

None-the-less, I do like the Jack Ryan character, so I'll probably watch it. Thanks for the tip
